Cafe Aura has opened a new, temporary outdoor dining space to accommodate up to 40 additional diners at the popular restaurant. The tented area, which has been designed to create an authentic al fresco experience using greenery, lighting, music and full table settings, will be located alongside the restaurant in a section of its parking area.
It will be available to diners through September and will be open during the restaurant’s normal operating hours (Monday-Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m., Thursdays-Saturdays from 4 to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 3 to 8 p.m.). Reduced seating also is available inside the historic downtown location and all diners will be able to enjoy Cafe Aura’s full menu, wine list and bar service. Reservations always are highly recommended.
“Outdoor dining is a treasured tradition in Italy and in many cities across the world and is a wonderful way to enjoy all the foods and drinks we present here at Café Aura,” owner Geno Auriemma said. “We appreciate how supportive both the City of Manchester and our business neighbors have been with this move, helping us meet COVID requirements and continue to bring visitors downtown. We look forward to serving our valued patrons in this new space.”
